My name is Ken. Founder of KENYTH.
I’m a father, a husband, a writer, and if I’m being honest, a bit of a maniac. I average about three hours of sleep a night and have spent most of my life convinced that if I worked hard enough, pushed hard enough, and wanted something badly enough, I could figure it out.
A recent major life transition changed me from the inside out. It changed how I see myself. It changed how I see other people. It changed how I see the world. I’m doing things today that the version of me six months ago would’ve arrogantly scoffed at.
For a long time, I was a very self-righteous man. So self-righteous that I KNEW I wasn’t self-righteous. You read that right. The day I learned I was wrong about that started a journey that made me wonder how many other things I could be wrong about?
That question changed everything.
While this journey has certainly had its painful moments, the man writing this today is a better man because of it. I made a promise to myself and a promise to The Creator: to continue trying to be just a little bit better every day, in perpetuity.
To be kind.
To show grace.
To make sure the people I care about know that I care about them.
I thought I had that last one in the bag for years.
Turns out…there was a lot more to it than I could’ve ever imagined.
